NTPI is the premier tax
representation training program in the nation and is sponsored by the National
Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA).
NTPI develops and enhances the knowledge and skills professionals need to
effectively represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
With a formal three-year curriculum, NTPI sharpens the skills of
enrolled practitioners at all stages of their careers. With each level of
this tiered program, students expand the knowledge, skills, and confidence
needed to successfully guide clients through the often challenging maze of IRS
codes, internal regulations, and agency structure. NTPI represents the
only program of its kind at which taxpayer representatives gather to enhance
their representation skills. Courses are taught by practicing experts
about contemporary representation practice issues and ethical considerations of
representation practice.
