TBS was begun in 1996 by Dick
Nadolski.Initially, the company
provided support for computerized accounting systems (QuickBooks and Peachtree),
and offered a tax return preparation service for both business and individual
clients.Services for a typical business
client at that time would include a review of their present accounting
practices and then providing a customized QuickBooks or Peachtree application,
followed by installation and training the clients on how best to use the
system.Many clients were able to proceed without additional help, and those with more complicated systems required follow-up training and on-going support.
The company realized its first
expansion when, after installing the new systems and providing the training, many
clients began requesting additional services such as financial analysis, and
regular reviews of performance.Dick had
26 years of experience providing just that type of information services for Mobil Oil Corporation and it was a perfect fit, and an immediate hit with our clients.We later added bookkeeping, payroll,
incorporation and IRS representation services, and finally, offered the sale of
business forms and supplies, to get where we are today.
